Hi, my name is Heather Wilkinson.

I am an independent makeup artist and I set up the Just Blush to provide a makeup service for weddings, special occasions, editorial, catwalk fashion and portrait photography.

My interest in make-up art stems from my artistic and creative background. I take pride in my work, and I look to create a look that is suited to the individual and their personality. My work satisfaction comes from making people feel fabulous in the way they look!

I started my career in the cosmetics industry working as a consultant for a leading cosmetics company. As a consultant I received in-house cosmetic training and I developed a good understanding of skincare, cosmetic products and application techniques. I have since built on these skills as an independent makeup artist, with training in makeup techniques for photography, editorial work and fashion at the London College of Fashion.

I have undertaken many facials and makeovers for clients including bridal and special occasion makeup application. I have experience with a wide range of skin types, and I use a range of products to suit different complexions, including: MAC, Bobbi Brown, Lancome, and Virgin Vie.

Working as an independent makeup artist allows me to be flexible and experimental with different products to meet the needs of the client.

My portfolio of work shows a selection of the work taken from charity makeover events, photo shoots and bridal work.
